fad diet = bad diet

 There’s a zillion of them out there. Each one claims to be the best. And it seems like every year a new diet craze takes the weight loss community by storm. And while they may promise great results, a year later we’re back to try out the next super diet. Why? Because they’re a fad. They’re hip. And they give us hope. Bottom line: They don’t work.

So what does work? Is there hope? Am I ever going to get back into my old jeans? Yes. As long as you remember one simple equation:

 

 

calories in = calories out

It’s that simple. To maintain your weight, you must burn as many calories as you take in. And if you’re trying to lose weight, you’ve gotta be burning more than you take in. It’s basic math. It’s easy to figure out. And it works.
